That Mason is pretty sly. He carried the ring all the way from Los Angeles to Hawaii in one of the pockets of his cargo pants. How could Caroline not notice? Well, that's the way power of the Hawaiian islands and the euphoria of being on vacation, especially after giving notice at her former job.

One day after watching their friends Dan and Robin become united as husband and wife, Mason decided to ask his poofy girlfriend Caroline to marry him in front of a waterfall. She was taking photos when he decided the time was right and the setting romantic.

He said, "I have a surprise for you."
Caroline, parched from the tropical heat, replied, "Oh good. Are we getting juice?"
Mason answered, "No," and dropped to one knee and produced the ring.
Caroline: "It's such a beautiful ring. It's really big. Where did you get it? It's so sparkly."
"Uh..do you accept?"
"Yes, I do. Happily. Now, how big is this again?"
"Uh..can I get a kiss?"
"Wait. Can I put this on now?"
"Yes."

Ten minutes later and many shots of the ring next to baby pineapples, Mason and Caroline celebrated their happy news with freshly squeezed sugarcane juice.
